Finished this piece sooner than expected, drawing time approx 25 hours, size is 8 x 5inches, drawn on Mellotex paper, using 4b, 2b, hb, and 2h Grahite, I seemed to have spent more time sharpening the 4b pencil than I have drawing, but I'm fairly pleased with the outcome, hope you like it too, all comments welcome.

Grahame, like everyone else, I think the fur is rendered in great detail and is very realistic.
What impresses me more though is that you've cropped tightly and chosen an unusual viewpoint to create such an interesting overall design - it's almost abstract. For me, this is what lifts it to another level and makes it such an terrific achievement.

I can relate to the pencil sharpening bit... with cp I draw, sharpen, draw, sharpen.... then empty the shavings from the sharpener and throw away those expensive - and now shredded - colored pencils! :-)
