Do I hate drawing grass!!!


I must have drawn this grass 15 time and just cant get the hang of it, I know how i want it to look but just cant get there.... from now on no more grass in my drawings. if you want to see how grass should look check out Nolon Stacey's blog page...

This is looking great Grahame! Grass is hard!!! and you are right about Nolon Stacey , the rabbit in the grass is amazing!!! I'm not sure it's something I would want to attempt any time soon : ) Good Luck

Looking good though! Grass is really complex, reflecting ever changing light and shadows. I believe it should never become the main focal point of a piece and get given too much detail...
Hang in there: your rhino is looking good.
