Tabby

Some of you that follow this blog may have noticed that the lion drawing as vanished! I wasn't happy with the way the female looked or the grass so in the end I sent it to the local waste paper dump, and decided to move on, for the moment I'm leaving wildlife alone and concentrating on domesticated animals. here is the start of a Tabby cat portrait (first one for me) this will measure approx 8 x 7 inches when completed, I'll post more as I progress...

Oh what a shame Grahame, but I admire the strength that enables you to 'dump' a picture you aren't happy with. I'm mid way through a coloured pencil project that I've thought about for months ... and disappointingly it isn't going as I'd like. I keep trying to 'tweak it' but think I really should take a leaf out of your book :o)

The tabby looks great so far ...

Thanks Sue, I can understand that not every one can call it a day and scrap a drawing, some like to keep them to see how thay have improved I prefer to just forget about them and you know when you have improved.
