Fearless

After over 40 hours of drawing time, my latest work is finished, measuring 20 x 10 inches it is my largest piece to date, my biggest problem all the way through, has been to think of a title, so I looked through all my Pink Floyd cd's for insperation, when I reached the album that turned me on to the Floyd back in the 70s
''Meddle'' the track ''Fearless'' jumped out at me, it just seems the perfect title. Hope you like him, as much as I did creating him....

It's perfect, Grahame! The title, the drawing...I love it! :-)

Thank you Kathleen, I tried to sit him on some ground with a shadow but it spoilt the effect, so it's best he stays as he is

Great work Grahame! After spending 40 hours on your largest piece to date, I bet you're itching to begin a 4 x 4 inch sketch featuring anything without stripes.

Thanks Grahame, This turned out really beautiful- I wish I could see it up close! I too am a Pink Floyd fan, my favorite album being Animals. Good thing you looked to Meddle for a name, Pigs on the Wing just wouldn't have worked for that piece : )

Thank you Dors, I sometimes wonder about the WIP postings, do people get bored with them, do they just want to see the end result, so thanks for your comments, the next project is already on the drawing board, a lion and its cub, and I already have a title

Hi Jennie, I went through a few PF albums before Meddle and that was just the only one. Thanks for your comments.

Such a majestic animal! I have been following your WIP never expecting the drawing to be the complete Tiger. Every time I looked you had added a bit more. A beautiful drawing!!

Thank you Sally, he was well worth all the hard work..

I love your picture and I love the openness. I often leave my animals 'sitting in space'. I love that white space around them or just a bit of shading in the background.

HI Wendy, thanks for your comments, I tried the background forground, cast shadow, effects but it just didnt work for me...
