Wip part 5

Working my way down the body and bringing the rear legs into play, almost 30 hours and still going strong, but still no title!

Looking good! A lot of the time the titles don't come to me until the very end. :-)

Thanks Kathleen, I think that is what will happen in this case

Grahame, just how big is this drawing anyway? Initially I thought it was a head and shoulders portrait, then there was the hint of a front leg. Forequarters followed in the next post and I'm now seeing back legs appear!

Anyway, you are showing your remarkable skill once again, not to mention incredible patience, especially after discarding your first effort.

Hi Peter, thanks for your comments, when finished the image size will be approx 22 x 9 inches my largest drawing to date, I think a lot of people thought this was just going to be a head and shoulders portrait.

Yes, same here, I thought head/shoulder but I love the full body pose. This is coming along very nicely.

Hello Grahame ,I am joining you here...real neat sketches.I just can't muster up the patience to stick with a sketc for so long..it yields such great results.Pencil art is a lot of hard work!:)

Hi Arti and welcome to my blog, thank you for your comments, the secret to sticking with it is as I was told by Mike Sibley, break the drawing down from 1 x 20 hour drawing to 40 x 30 minute drawings and as you finish one area just move on to the next 30 believe me it does help...

Thanks Toni, yes I think were getting there, I'm not going to post again until its finished, trying to finish the front legs buy layering the fur texture, once done its on the the rear end!!

Oh...how did I miss a couple of updates. Coming along just great Grahame. It's good when it comes together and you keep going from a head and shoulders to the full body.

Gooooooooood Job.
